Pension Fund Regulatory And Development Authority (PFRDA) is one of the regulators in the financial sector established under the PFRDA Act 2013, with the mandate to promote, develop and regulate the pension sector of India.
PFRDA has released it’s Grade A notification for the recruitment year 2025.The vacancies released are for the position of assistant manager.
The total number of vacancies released for this year recruitment are 40 for various posts, The recruiting posts are for the General stream, Finance And Accounts stream, Information And Technology Stream, Research(Economics), Actuary, Legal And Official Language(Rajbhasha).
The notification was released on 29.06.2025 and the online process for application has been started from 02.07.2025 and the online application will be accepted till 06.08.2025.

Mode of Selection:
The selection will be a three stage process i.e Phase I(Online screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each) Phase II(Online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each) and phase III(Interview)
Information Regarding Phase I:
Phase I online screening examination consisting of 100 marks each will be held on 06.09.2025.
The exam will consists of:

Points to be noted regarding Phase I of the PFRDA Exam:
There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase 1.
Candidates would need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks in Phase 1 to be shortlisted for Phase 2.
The minimum aggregate cut-off will be decided by the authority, Phase 1 marks are only for getting shortlisted into phase 2 marks will not be added into phase 2 or any other phase.
The result of the Phase 1 will be declared or the official website of PFRDA.
Regarding the Phase II of the examination the candidates will be getting the e-mail from PFRDA, the same will be published on the official website of the PFRDA. Time, Date will be published.
Points to be noted regarding Phase II of the PFRDA Exam:
The examination will be conducted on 06.10.2025, Phase II will consists of 2 paper’s of 100 marks each.

Candidates who have been shortlisted for Phase II will be issued new call letters.
Candidates who have applied for the multiple streams, Paper II will be conducted in multiple shifts, the timings will be intimated in the call letter.
There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the paper 2 in the phase II.
Candidates would need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks in phase 2 to be qualified for phase 3.
Paper 1 will be evaluated only for such candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the paper 2.
The minimum qualifying marks for Paper 2 will be decided based on the performance of the candidates in the Paper 2.
Shortlisted candidates will be intimated regarding the date of interview on E-Mail and the same will be published on the official website of PFRDA.
Points to be noted regarding Phase 3 which is Interview Stage of PFRDA:
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called Interview.
The Weightage of Phase 2 will be 85% And 15% for the Interview stage for the final selection in PFRDA.
