
The leading public sector bank (Bank Of Baroda) has released its latest notification for the vacancy of Local Bank Officers.
Total Vacancy for the desired recruitment is around 2500.

Online Registration process begins from:04.07.2025
End Date was:24.07.2025
Whereas the end date of the notification has been extended by almost 10 days and now the new end date for applying on Bank Of Baroda LBO is 03.08.2025
The Education Eligibility Criteria For Bank Of Baroda LBO:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or institute including the integrated dual degree.
Professional qualifications in chartered accountancy, Cost accountancy, Medical or Engineering disciple are also eligible to apply for the Local Bank Officer in Bank Of Baroda.
The Age Limit criteria for applying of the desired vacancy are as such:
For General and EWS(Economically Weaker Section):The candidates needs to be in the age of 21-30 Years for applying for the vacancy.
Scheduled Caste have a age relaxation of 5 Years
Same goes for the Scheduled Tribes the age relaxation is of 5 Years.
Other Backward Caste(OBC) have a age relation of 3 Years which means they can apply up to the age of 33 Years.
Persons affected by riots of 1984 have a age relaxation of 5 Years.
Ex-Servicemen have a age relaxation of 5 Years for Gen/EWS, OBC-8 Years and for SC/ST:10 Years.
The Cut-Off date for age relaxation and Education qualification is 01.07.2025
Post qualification experience:
An experience of 1 Year as an officer in any scheduled commercial bank or any regional rural bank as listed in scheduled of Reserve Bank Of India.
Please Note:
Experience in NBFCs, Co-Operative Banks, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks or Fintech will not be considered as an experience and will be considered invalid for applying as Local Bank Officer in Bank Of Baroda.
Language Proficiency:
Candidates must be proficient in the local language on which ever state they are applying to they should be proficient in Reading, Writing And Speaking.

Corrigendum notice for the extension of date of applying.
Location Of Posting:
For the first 12 Years the candidates will be posted in the state on which they have applied or up to the scale 4 whichever is earlier, After which it is on the Bank Of Baroda discretion for posting of their employees.
The candidate on the initial posting will be posted as an scale 1 officer.
Probation period will be of 1 Years.
Service Bond:
The candidates need to serve for Bank Of Baroda for 3 Years of active service or have to give Rs. 5 Lakhs to Bank Of Baroda for not serving or continuing the service.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process shall comprise of online test, Psychometric test or any other deemed for further selection of the candidate followed by group discussion and/or interview of the candidates, qualifying in the online examination.
Online Test shall comprise of 4 sections 30 Marks each, 30 questions each and duration of 30 minutes each.
The duration of the examination shall be 2 hours.
The 4 sub sections are as follows:
English Language, Banking Knowledge, General/Economic Awareness And Reasoning ability and quantitative aptitude.
The Minimum qualifying marks or percentage of marks in the online examination category wise shall be:
For GEN/EWS:40%
For for all other reserved categories shall be 35%
Cumulative marks for the section 1,2,3 and 4 will be calculated for merit list.
Negative marking of 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer marked.
