The selection for both the streams Grade A and Grade B will be made after clearing all the three phases which are Phase 1(Preliminary Examination) this phase will be only for the screening purpose, The marks obtained in the phase 1 will not be calculated or added for the next phase.
Phase 2(Mains Examination) And The third phase will be Interview.
Phase 1 Details:
The total time duration of Phase 1 will be 120 Minutes Total questions will be 200 and total marks allotted will be 200.
The question paper will be online based and it will be sub divided into 7 sub sections.
1st Section will be English Language 30 Questions 30 Marks
2nd Section will be Reasoning Aptitude 25 Questions 25 Marks
3rd Section will be Quantitative Aptitude 25 Questions 25 Marks
4th Section will be General Awareness in general awareness section the questions special reference will be on Banking And Financial sector and economic and social issues the total questions will be 20 and time duration for this section will be 20 Minutes.
5th Section will be Computer Knowledge 20 Questions And 20 Marks.
6th Section MSME Policy, Regulatory and Legal framework; Finance and Management(With Focus on MSME the total questions will be 30 And time duration for this section will be 30.
7th Section will be Stream specific test the total questions will be 50 and time duration 50 Minutes.
Important Points to be noted regarding phase 1 of SIDBI:
Qualifying Section will be: English Language, Reasoning Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude and Computer Knowledge.
Merit Section will be: MSME Policy and Regulatory Framework, General Awareness and Stream Specific Test.
The shortlisting for Phase 2 will be only on the basis of Merit section.
Phase 1 difficulty will be different for both Grade A and Grade B.
Details regarding Phase 2:
There will be total of 2 question papers one will be of English Language and other will be of MSME Policy and Regulatory And Framework.
Interview Phase will be held in the month of November 2025.

Remuneration for Grade A Assistant Manager will be 19-21 Lakh Per Annum.
Remuneration for Grade B Manager will be 23.5-26 Lakh Per Annum.
Probation period is of 2 Years and it can be extended up to 4 Years at the description of SIDBI.
